Anysha supports parents as they navigate the many transitions that come with family life, whether they are welcoming their first child or adjusting to life with a growing family. She helps individuals reflect on how past experiences shape current challenges, offering space to process shifting identities, relationship dynamics, stress, grief, and the emotional weight of parenting.

Her approach is warm, grounded, and emotion-focused, blending thoughtful reflection with gentle humour to make therapy feel like a collaborative, human experience. Anysha brings particular experience supporting Black individuals and families, approaching her work with cultural awareness, advocacy, and respect. No matter what stage of life a parent is in, she helps them make sense of what feels overwhelming so they can move toward a more grounded and authentic version of themselves.

Perinatal and Family Care:

Anysha provides comprehensive perinatal and family-focused support for individuals and families planning pregnancy, actively trying to conceive, navigating infertility, processing birth experiences, or adjusting to the realities of postpartum life. She recognizes that these transitions can bring joy, uncertainty, grief, and profound identity shifts, and she works alongside clients to help them understand and respond to these experiences with compassion and clarity.

Her training at in the RLS program at Women’s College Hospital plays a central role in her perinatal practice. There, she supported pregnant persons and new parents facing fertility concerns, labour and delivery experiences, and postpartum mental health challenges. This foundation strengthened her ability to offer trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and emotionally attuned care.

With particular commitment to supporting Black parents and families, Anysha provides a space where clients feel seen and understood as they navigate systems historically shaped by inequity. Through emotion-focused therapy, she helps families make meaning of their experiences, deepen connection, and move forward with a sense of empowerment and stability.
