Psychotherapist, entrepreneur, facilitator and activist, Susan Bascillo has for over 12 years been a counsellor, healer and social worker providing licensed, holistic and culturally sensitive treatment to clients in many different walks of life. With a master’s degree in Social Work, Health & Mental Health from the University of Toronto, she treats clients facing various circumstances, including anxiety, depression, grief, divorce, racial and sexual identity issues, self-esteem, anger, and various other complex trauma.
In addition, to her master’s degree, Susan holds a Bachelor of Social Work from York University and a psychotherapist designation from the College of Psychotherapy of Ontario. She is a registered social worker and psychotherapist. she is certified and trained in several therapeutic and modern treatment methods, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Intergenerational Trauma, Grief and Bereavement, Conflict Resolution, Family Systems, Holistic Therapy, and motivational interviewing a few.
She also runs her private practice Harmony & wellness counselling and is the co-founder of BLACK MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS CANADA, a fund that supports low-to-no-cost treatment for Black clients facing various mental illnesses, including racial trauma.
